Hilarious censored version: Tool changed the art, but none of the lyrics. Way to catch those Wallmart censors off guard!

Censored Version
Interpretation Water, the giver of life. Water, the taker of life. Most of the album is about water and liquids. I'll discuss the album art and the songs.

"Intolerance" starts with what some think is a massive bong hit, and others think is a person drowing.
"Prison Sex" deals with sodomy... blood, sweat and cum are certainly liquids.
"Sober," of course, deals with alchohol (even though sober seems to be a metaphor for sane-- not clean).
"Bottom" is, perhaps, a reference to the bottom of an ocean... down, left alone.
"Undertow," isn't it obvious?
The discussion of buried treasure reminds me of pirates treasure, in sunken ships (and the song reminds me of butt pirates (-:)
"Flood" is obvious once again. I'm not going to insult your intelligence.
I consider Flood the end of the album, and the rest to be a joke. The secret track is something that Tool put on the album to fool with our heads.

The Album Art: I think the fat lady represents a sea-creature. The blue backdrop looks like water, and she is in a position that looks like she is holding her breath. I don't know what the semi-erotic picture represents.
